Board of Directors

Barb White, Hampton Inn & Suites - Lino Lakes
Quad Chamber of Commerce President/Director

I joined the Quad Chamber of Commerce in 2007 when I took the position of Director of Sales at the Hampton Inn & Suites. I have been an active member of the chamber over the years and when the chamber went through some difficult transitions in 2013, I was concerned the Chamber would dissolve. With the support of my General Manager and the City of Lino Lakes I decided to step into the position of Director until the Chamber could see some positive changes. With the help of the City and Faamati we held our first meeting in February 2014 and found the consensus was the Chamber is a very important part of the communities. I ask for your support in helping this Chamber become successful.

Faamati Winey, Snap Fitness - Lino Lakes
Vice President/Chair of the Ambassadors Program

I first joined the Quad Chamber of Commerce in 2004 with my first snap location. I started to become involve with the chamber at several events and meetings and soon joined it's Board of Directors. In 2008, I finished my second term on the board and decided to step down for awhile as I was in the process of opening new Snap Fitness locations. I recently opened my fifth Snap Fitness location and now that it is up and running successfully, I am ready to re-join the Board of Directors. This was the first chamber I joined and I feel so fortunate to work with such great people. The Quad Chamber will always be my favorite. We are like family. I will try to do my best to serve our members and our communities and also to help grow our chamber.

Shelly Myrland, F&M Bank - Lino Lakes
Treasurer

I am so excited to serve on the board of the Quad Area Chamber. I have already met so many amazing and talented business leaders in our community just within the first month, I believe it is important to have a center for our community as we are so geographically decentralized. The chamber can be our center to come together as a community to collaborate, strengthen and built support for local businesses and on another. As treasurer, I will provide accurate reporting of finances to the board on a monthly basis. As a member of the chamber, I will strive to help it grow and make it stronger so it will be a vibrant and essential part of the Quad Area.

Nate Michalowski, YMCA - Lino Lakes

Board Member

I am excited to join the Quad Area Chamber of Commerce as it's newest board member. As the Director of Healthy Living at the YMCA, I have had the opportunity to meet and work with several business leaders in this area. I definitely see a need to work together and provide a strong platform for development. I look forward to serving the community and fostering cooperation among the local businesses as we grow together in 2014.
