Minutes

February 14, 2006

Call to Order: 8:10AM

Attendance: Jason Anderson, Leslie Welnetz, Faamati Winey, Mitch Rehbine, Mady Reiter, Chris Farinella, Chad Wagner

Minutes: Minutes for the 1/10/2006 meeting were approved as submitted.

Updates: Window clings are in. Chris will pick them up.

Mitch is looking into printed folders, we will purchase plain folders and put on sticker labels in the interim.

A softball tournament is scheduled for the Blue Heron Days as a Chamber sponsored event.

The joint chamber meeting went very well. About fifteen legislators were present. Mady suggested the chamber bring a similar event to the Quad area.

Events: Thursday night 2/16/2006 is the Town Hall Meeting. From 7:00-8:30pm.

New Business: A motion was approved to send scholarship monies to White Bear Lake schools to correct a miss-communication from the 2004-2005 school year.

A motion was made and approved to transfer the treasurer position from Mike Gallagher to Chris Farinella to help free up some of Mike’s busy schedule. This change is effective immediately.

Tentative agenda for next meeting: Financial status report, membership update, future events.
