November 8, 2005

 

 

 Meeting called to order: 8:15 a.m.

Attendance:  Mitch Rehbine, Jason Anderson, Mary Divine, Mady Reiter, Brad Sanford, Faamati Winey, Mike Gallagher, Chris Farinella, Chad Wagner

 

Others Attending:

 

Minutes: None approved.

   

New Board Members:       LaChelle Williams, Mike Gallagher, Chris Farinella and Leslie W.

 

Project Leaders:

  1. Ambassadors Club: Mitch Rehbine. A recruitment drive among current members is needed to get chamber members to be Ambassadors.
  2. New Member Welcoming Committee: Mady Reiter
  3. Media/Newspaper Liaison:  Mary Divine
  4. Social Coordinator/Events Organizer: Chad Wagner. Faamati and Mary will assist.

 

January 2006 Newsletter Assignments:

 

Articles due December 1. Email them to Chris.

Article on Business Expo/Craft Show/Legislative booths for Blue Heron Days

Possible article about joint meeting with MetroNorth Chamber on January 26 about upcoming legislative issues

8.  Chad:             Article about getting involved in Blue Heron Days 2006 (with photo from 2005)

 

Events:

It was discussed that the Chamber will host one event per quarter and one fundraiser per year.

 

It was discussed that the Jaycees need 4 more members to retain their Charter. New members will be recruited. It was discussed to have a joint meeting with the Jaycees to network and find ways to work together.

 

Blue Heron Days:

The Lino Lakes Lions will take over the golf tournament, with funds going to the fireworks display.

 

Mady said she would help recruit for behind the scenes volunteers, ways to generate funds.

 

Miscellaneous:

Chris will put together packet materials for prospects who ask for information. It can include the Chamber brochure, Quad Resident Guide, newsletter, etc.

 

Mady will look into whether the Quad Chamber Charter is in good standing, and what needs to be done if needed.

 

If Mary gets a list of the current Chamber board, she will write an article about new board members.

 

Jason will get letterhead to Chris.

 

Chris will follow up with members to get email addresses.

 

Chris will send a letter and packet out to all the people who attended the annual meeting and aren’t already members.

 

 

 

Next meeting: 8 AM on October 25 at Lino Lakes City Hall.
